on the Megin River

renowned for its rugged beauty and outdoor potential, but the river
is also good for fishing, with resident cutthroat caught year round
and a winter steelhead run from March to April.
Access to the
Megin River is by boat or kayak from Clayoquot Sound, with floatplane
fly-ins available to Megin Lake.
